Baby looks Beautiful in Blue!!
Maybe I need to repaint my 1/1 to blue.
@charles-rockett, Here's a pic of Bob Jackman's '61 Corvette. I just happen to have a pic of it in my photo library.

Striking! Much as the calming blue may be cool, this is literally red hot!
@charles-rockett For some reason, when the car is photographed in the sun, the Roman Red turns into flat pink. I restored the car some fifty years ago and I used DuPont Acrylic Lacquer which has held up amazingly good over these many years.
It's a beauty Bob....don't change a thing!
@jack-dodds Thanks Jack. I did change one thing since this picture was taken, I put on a set of U S Royal tires with the correct slightly narrower white walls for 1961.

I put US Royals (correct whitewall size ) on my '59 Cadillac. I still remember the kid installing them, kind of scratching his head, "US Royals?" That blue, and your red, Bob, are great colors but if I were to ever get a '61 Vette there's only ONE choice: Fawn Beige - a color that really must be seen to be appreciated. 😎 😎
@chris I agree the Fawn Beige would be my number one choice but only if that was the original color from the factory. The first picture shows a red interior which, IMO, looks terrible.
Bob, I couldn't agree more!
1) Collector cars MUST be in original colors - I will SELL and have SOLD those that are not.
2) As much as I love RED interiors, for Fawn Beige - the matching interior is the ONLY way to go. 😎 😎
