I was looking over my big glass display case and decided each shelf needed four ramp trucks on them, the bottom shelf will only have one ramp truck because there will be eight dragsters displayed around the ramp truck with one dragster loaded on the ramp truck.

I will be up to 32 ramp trucks in all and that will take up the remaining space putting my total of 1/18 scale diecast collection at 117 cars/trucks in total.

If you had to pay outright retail price from the manufacture between cars and cases I have just over $41,000 dollars on paper of diecast and cases. Thank god I did not have to pay full retail price for a lot of this collection. My highest price paid was just over $700 dollars for my Exoto Ford GT40 MKII X-1 Roadster, still in all this collection has cost me several thousand dollars since 2002 when I started collecting 1/18 scale diecast.

It has been a fun ride and the only piece I have left on my list to collect is the Exoto 1/18 scale Ford GT40 MKII driven by Ken Miles and Denny Hulme at Lemans in 1966.

32 Ramp trucks?  Holy smoke! I thought I was nuts when I posted I have 17 1/18 1950 Ford sedans...   GEEZ!       ....and yes $41,000 (non-retail outlay) is a good number. I can relate.

John, when you noted, "....the only piece I have left on my list....."   ... that made my laugh!  Have any idea how many times I've said that? 🤣 😆 😉

I am out of space to expand to other subject matter, I enjoy what I have acquired over the past 20 years, my interests are more narrow than many others and I try to find the higher quality pieces which as you know drives the price points higher. Between my 1/18 scale collection and my wife's collection of Disney items over the years our house is at the point that there is just no more room to add more.

Here is one of my wife's collectibles it does have wheels just be weary of midnight:
