I finally got around to opening the trunk on Yat-ming's 1/18 1964 Mercury Parklane. It's a decent model that deserves "full function." I goofed a bit on the hinges (taken from a junk Edsel) as they're a bit too narrow (I knew better... I just got lazy 😔 😕 ). I scaled down & printed some Houndstooth for the trunk. You'll note the horizontal chrome trim, from the taillight assembly, had to also be cut out. Not completely finished yet, but I thought some of you might enjoy some "work-in-progress" pics. 😀
