DM got this one right. Looks extra special in white with the black up top. Great pics too!

@jcarnutz Great photos. The 61-62 T-Bird are some of my favorites.
The first time I saw that T-Bird with the Sports Roadster option in place was while watching the detective series "77 Sunset Strip" with Efram Zimbalist Jr and Roger Smith. I thought it was as cool as Ed "Kookie" Burns' hot rod.
One I don't have, but would add if it were available at a good price. Great pics as always John!

The first time I saw the new 62 Sports Roadster I was blown away. Finally in 1990 I was able to buy a 1/1 1963 from a young man that worked for me. It took me 14 years to convince him to sell the car when he ran into financial difficulty. It took me 5 1/2 years to restore the car to it's all original specs.
Your pics really do this model justice. It's one of my all time favorites.
@bob-jackman what a prize the car must be Bob. Brilliant creative design, perfect symmetry with contrasting front and rear design features.
Thanks Geoff. The car has won numerous best of show awards but the best thing about it is driving it. Pete did a fabulous job of repainting the DM model in Castillion Gold which is the color of my 1/1 although in 1963 the color was called champaigne.
