We have a plethora of DVD 'series' collections that we rotate through for nighttime TV-watching. Currently we're viewing "Crime Story" w/Dennis Farina. I love the period-correct (1963) cars and the missus loves the period-correct music. This post is so reminiscent of that series!

that intro hits ALL the buttons !!.......the last similarly theme-ish series I recall is a Vegas-ey "Magic City" (flawed but enjoyable early on)
I put on an old movie each night to drift into dreamland......so far this week,the movies of Hedy Lamarr and those of that memorable character actor Percy Helton
