Ah, Buick's designers saw the light and got rid of the ugly '42-'48 butt. I love this one!
I wonder if this was the basis for FM's version
FM's version was a Roadmaster, not a Super...
...the Roadmaster had 4 ventiports, while the Super had 3.
Saint Clair Shores, Michigan
One of the "portholes" fell off my FM Roadmaster so now I have a Super ! :):)

And the Roadmaster gained the sweepspear side trim, after the Riviera hardtop was introduced. The Roadmaster also rode a longer wheelbase, reflecting its larger OHV straight-eight engine.
See my reply to Doug Ford in the '48 Olds 98 topic for more insight into Buick's decision to wait a year before introducing the new body in the Super and Roadmaster series.
Didnt notice that - but it is a yellow conv. with matching dashboard and red interior and wheels
LMAO!

Yeah, man, makes me want to put on a brown fedora and wide lapel pinstripe suit. Same house in the..
background again. Time to 'fess up, Larry: that's your place and all these cars are yours too, hey? ๐
