Stunning '57 Pontiac / STUNNING PICS JOHN. There are some comments...
...about the door gaps on this and the white version. I don't care. I've got them 'both' and love them. FM did a great job with this image.
My Dad had a '57 Starchief convertible. So, this will always be a special car for me...in any scale.

Great photos of one of my favorite Pontiac years. I have both this one and the white one.
Overall, I think FM did an okay job with it, but just a little disappointed with the wide gap between the front doors and the front fenders on the white one. Other than that, two winners and nice cars.

I always liked the 57 Bonnie better than the 58 especially that color

This ones door gaps are very good. My white version is not.
It has those different hinges which could be the culprit. No matter, I still love it.

I'm (pretty) sure all '57 Bonnevilles were factory painted Kenya Ivory (off-white).

I think you are right. I have seen photos of a red one, but most are the ivory color. I am going to go with, that this one was special ordered by the original customer in this color.
Of course, knowing some of things FM did, it could just be a figment of someone's imagination. They picked it out of the color samples because they liked it, never bothering to check the accuracy.
