Im happy I own this piece of automotive history this right here fellas is the Tucker 48 Made by Danbury Mint I’m glad they did the prototype instead of the regular one because it’s unique and hasn’t been made in diecast form until Danbury Mint it’s so detailed and beautiful the paint not so much but I can excuse that for it’s age it’s fantastic model and definitely recommend if you get your hands on it
I will post more pictures later I apologize
It is an excellent model for sure. I am also very pleased that DM chose to model the prototype-it adds tp the model made by FM.

I`ve hoped to get a hold of that one for a very long time,.,.thanks for the pics
I am wondering why this car is referenced as "The Tin Goose". I know of an airplane called this, but not any cars?

I sold mine due to paint rash but would add it back if I could find a good one.
I've got the FM one in blue. I'd never really appreciated the Tucker but after I saw the movie, "Tucker: The Man and his Dream" I became a Tucker fan.
I'm glad I have the "Tin Goose" on my shelf. Danbury did an outstanding job on it. I also have the three Tucker's that Franklin did. It's a car that was a must due to the history it brings with it.

The Tucker was issued in 4 colors by FM. Waltz Blue in 1992, Anniversary Gold in 1993, Dark Green in 2004 and Maroon in 2007.

Thank you John. I remembered that after I posted above about FM's three colors. I did not get FM's Maroon one, as I'd had DM's Maroon "Tin Goose". I'd certainly add it though if the opportunity were to present itself.

Believe it or not I don’t own a single Tucker! I just never got around to it, they poof they were gone, sold out. I definitely want to add the DM version and one of TFMs versions. My dilemma is WHICH FM model is best version of a Tucker?
@phil-r The DM is just a beautiful model, but it's the prototype that differs from the production Tucker in many ways. The FM is older tech but it represents the production vehicle pretty well. Sooooo..... but both! LOL
A friend of mine in Colorado bought Tucker #17 here in Florida in 2006. He stopped by my house in Sarasota to show me the car.
These are the Tucker's I have in my collection.
