I just learned another reason why the quality of Stamp Models is consistently high! While most manufacturers make their detail parts out of resin, Stamp goes above and beyond by creating these parts with injection molding!! Yes, the very same technology used in the 1:25 scale kits that we all built when we were kids. This process is much more expensive, but it provides more accurate, durable parts that have better chrome adhesion. Now that I know this, I am astonished that they are able to sell their models at a competitive price!
Here are some unfinished parts from the upcoming Toronado and 1969 Chevelle. I blurred out a few of the parts because they belong to models that have not been announced yet.

Interesting, Dave. Thanks for the background. A while back, GLM explained the process they used to create the side trim on some models that some thought was silver paint. It was some sort of heat transfer. Do you know what that process is, or can you find out?

I often think of Stamp and GLM as closely related companies (maybe the same). What is the relationship of these two. Both make very nice models. Thanks for the continuing Toronado updates.

They are BEAUTIFUL !!!!!
If anyone doubts Stamp's commitment to excellence, just look at how they put so much effort into the wheel development until it was just right!

Amazing detail! I love it when you can get down this small and see accuracy.

I need to make a color decision and get one on order. Still leaning towards the green. Great color choice offerings.
I'm going for the green and blue, which are exclusive to the TOYCARGEEK and can have the optional wheels.
