Here's a couple models that are a bit different. They were both designed by Brooks Stephens, and to say they are a bit bizarre is probably putting it mildly. With that however, I really like both of them. I have seen the Die Valkyrie in person and the Scimitar only in photos. Your thoughts?

I also thank you for this post, John.  I have vague recollections of seeing pictures of these several years ago (the 1:1 versions), but I don't remember seeing them in our scale.  Interesting!

I remember seeing images of them (the 1:1 versions) many years ago, but I don't recall seeing them in our scale. Interesting!

I've seen the Scimitar when it was on display at the Petersen Auto Museum, maybe 20 or so years ago.  It was displayed with the retractable hard top in the up position.  Your model captures it beautifully.
