Because it's a race car, Sergio's first. More specifically, Goldvarg No. 32 is the 1963 Ford Falcon Futura from the 1963 Monte Carlo Rally. The Swedish Team of Bo Ljungfeldt and Gunnar Haggbom finished a somewhat miserable 42nd sadly.
Goldvarg not only added all the right lights, numbers, etc. but the Michigan license FD 3905 is also correct. And unlike many other rally cars I have, Sergio went to the trouble of adding the rally computational aides used by the navigator to time each stage.
If I have one criticism, it's that the vent window photoetch sides seem a bit wide and featureless.
Nice to see Sergio's usual attention to detail shown once again with this model.
Overall that looks like a very finely detailed model of an interesting subject - but yes, that front quarterlight looks like an uncharacteristic error. The framing of the vent window is about 3 times wider than it should be and doesn't seem to sit properly at all. Surprising that passed final inspection.

Looks like a nice one. No this is one I am not really interested in.

Not the kind of model I collect but well done.
The edition size on this one is 220, a bit lower than the typical 250 or so. It will be interesting to see how it sells - a lot of rally and Ford enthusiasts in Europe may snap them up. If he does do well on this one perhaps more race cars could follow - a few potential NASCAR stockers and drag cars are in the range already.
