John, either the 5 point or 30 point system is fine.  I would leave it as is, since we are all used to it, and I have not heard any objections to having a couple of digits to the right of the decimal point.

The videos are great, and I enjoyed the comments about using the dining room as your studio.  When I was younger, much younger, I used our dining room table for my desk to do homework for high school and college.  I used the kitchen table to build my models.

@ed-davis, Thanks, Ed. I too used the dining room for my homework. My dad had a workbench in our basement. He made an area just for me to use to build my models. Thanks for the memory!
