1957 BUICK CENTURY CABALLERO ESTATE WAGON

BUICK DIVISION – GENERAL MOTORS CORPORATION – DETROIT, MICHIGAN

TV Westerns—Gunsmoke, Tales of Wells Fargo, Wagon Train and Station Wagons such as this 1957 Buick Estate Wagon were staples of typical 1950s family life. Buick actually offered three levels of their Estate Wagon that year: the Special Series, the Riviera and the top of the line, Century Caballero (Spanish for “Horseman”) Estate Wagons.

General Motors’ most expensive station wagon for 1957, the Caballero, is especially noteworthy for its full 4-door hardtop pillarless construction.

A longtime fan of this Buick wagon along with the Oldsmobile version, the Fiesta.

@moe-parr Barry I also have this model along with a 1/18 scale version. One of the best station wagon designs of all time.

IMO, that is one of the most beautiful Buicks and station wagons ever produced by any manufacturer.

Wow !!!

What a beautiful color combination !!!

I like the darker color choice as the dominant one.

I love it !!
