Last Tuesday I attended the Chicago Auto Show, which is one of the oldest and largest auto shows in the US. The focus was on EVs with many current and soon to be release vehicles. There were also some nice sports cars, which is more to my liking. Here are some photos.
Nissan: This is the new Z, which has styling reminding people of the 1970-1973 Datsun 240Z. It will be released this spring as a 2023 model.
Subaru: The Subaru displays are based on an outdoor theme and their partnership with the National Park Foundation. The last Subaru picture is there new BRZ sports car, which is also sold by Toyota as the GR 86.
Ford Mustang: Both the 2-door coupe and the Mach E.
Ford Trucks: The first two pictures show the new Lightning. There is lots of storage room under the hood in the Frunk (Front tRUNK). The third picture shows a 1978 pickup converted to be an EV.
Toyota:Â There was a nice display for the coming 2023 bZ4X (Beyond Zero emissions, 4 wheel drive). They showed the chassis and power equipment, and a sign helped identify the major components. Just follow the numbers on the components.
Kia: They showed the EV6 and the concept EV9. For the EV6 they also have a chassis display. The tail lights are interesting. The EV9 is shown with a background using projections of varying outdoor scenes.
Jeep: The Chicago Auto Show features many indoor test tracks, where attendees may either be able to ride as a passenger or drive one of the cars. This shows part of the Jeep test track.
Corvette:Â If you have a few more dollars, pounds, euros, etc. to spend, you might want to buy one of these.
Supercars: If you have many, many more dollars, pounds, euros, etc. to spend, there are cars for you. Here is a photo of the Lamborghini Huracan.
I hope you liked the pictures.
