Sorry, I’m the very opposite of a Sedaka fan!
He was a bit bfore my time. But, I give the guy credit, he's doing good for 80 yrs old!

It's all about Neil. Just listen to his DJ broadcasts on Sirius radio....No way am I a fan.

I caught the end of his popularity cycle back when he was killin' it.
His stuff is light, happy and uncomplicated but its nice to hear occasionally. I give the man credit for caring enough to try to brighten up these tough times...especially at age 80.
Interesting fact...Eydie Gorme was Neil Sedaka's first cousin.

And Carole King was his girlfriend who broke up with him, and for whom he wrote "Oh, Carole."
He was OK, catchy little pop songs from the late 1950s and early 1960s,. Liked more by girls who probably believed that Sedaka was singing personally to them. My sister had most of his records or maybe just the one she played incessantly - they all sounded very similar to each other to me.
Any way, I enjoyed the clip.
I enjoyed his remake, a slower version of "Breaking Up."

I grew up with his music and loved it.
He's still got it. Would be fun to be in his circle of friends and do karaoke together. Well, I doubt he is ready for that. He's still performing and is worth about $100 million.
I agree Jack.
Carole King sure had a lot of ultimately famous musician boyfriends over the years.
