I was doing some research on FM’s Capone Cadillac, which I’m shopping around for, when I came upon these photos. The photo of the car is drop-dead gorgeous, I had to share it. The other one is little Al (on the right), with his older brother. Not so gorgeous!

great project Charles. That pic shows how well FM did with their version. This is the other Big Al version from Esval, available in 1/43, 1/24 and I think 1/18 as well. I have the red 1/24 version of the Cadillac. Stunning model. Looking forward to your research, thanks.

The not so gorgeous photo' tells us a lot about the man and goes some way towards explaining the gorgeous Cadillac.

Hope you find a nice one - the FM really did do a great job on it. Got Al's license #, hat, briefcase and pop gun with it!

kevins, looks like the Capone brothers had it rough growing up. Love both pics.

I highly doubt that the boys on the picture are Al Capone and his brother (they certainly look alike), however these boys look what? 6-7 year old. Al Capone was born in 1899, was such quality photography available in 1905-06?

PS: Perhaps it is genuine, this picture is included in multiple articles. If real, it is an amazing picture of future gangster!

@chav, taken by Vivian Maier,  born in 1926, long after 1905-06. Maier was perhaps the most famous street photographer of the twentieth century.
