It looks like 6-8" here in South Central PA. I'm probably gonna tackle it with the snowblower now. I've learned it's easier to do twice than once at the end when we get this much.
@david-green, of course, we would have loved to have you with us and meet you in person!

Here in Minnesota, we've been BELOW ZERO for over a week and the forecast is the same for another week. Every morning -20 degrees is not exciting to get out of bed to face. We had the most beautiful Fall in September, October, and November, then BAM Winter hit the last week of November with snow, cold, wind, below zero temps, more snow, more cold, and more win. It's like waking up to the movie "Ground Hogs Day" where the same day is lived over and over and over and over...it just won't end. These past 8 weeks have been like 4 months! And why do I live here? I wish I could come up with a good reason.

@georgeschire I'm at an age that I could no longer live in that climate. We still have four seasons which I like all though the summers get tiresome by the time August rolls around.
Just came in from snowblowing the driveway. 9" with 2' drifts. So cold I had to stop. Still snowing. Ugh.
well gentlemen while I sympathise down here it could not be more of a contrast. Tomorrow Melbourne is predicted to be 44 Celsius, 111.12 Fahrenheit parts of Victoria further inland will hit 120+.
@geoff-jowett OMG, those must be unusual temps? I know it's summer there but......
like everywhere Mark, becoming more and more extreme. Melbourne's record is 46.4C, 115.5F on Feb 7, 2009. Victoria's is 48.8C, 119.84F on the same day. It is expected to be broken tomorrow.@geoff-jowett OMG, those must be unusual temps? I know it's summer there but......
