They closed the store 6 hours early, first time in years, we are a 365 day store. The plow did the parking lot at 7, by the time I left at 3 there was a foot of snow on the lot. I only got out in my Malibu with a couple of people pushing me. I got home and cleared my drive again, saw the neighbor struggling with a shovel so I did his, had to get out of there quick, he looked like he wanted to hug me, or worse! I’m staying in the house til April, I’m too old for this state.
@jkuvakas Always brother. Enjoy.😊💯
Sounds like everybody's having their own little adventure in this mess. I did shovel the driveway once and cleared the Jeep off. I'll snowblow tomorrow. I get ours, then I go down the block and back to clear the sidewalks for our neighbors.😊
@georgeschire I'm at an age that I could no longer live in that climate. We still have four seasons which I like all though the summers get tiresome by the time August rolls around.
Hey Mr. Jackman, I hear you loudly. Truth be told, I'm long past the age that I can or want to tolerate this weather. If it were up to me, I'd be somewhere warmer year round. But my Lorraine won't leave here. So it's a catch 21, as I don't like it here, but I want to be with her.

We had our last warm day for the next 2 weeks here. I hesitate to report this as I can hear the tiny violins from here.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
We got about 4 inches. It's going to be -6 in the morning. Problem is, my brother has been trying to fix our furnace for over a week. It will start running for a short time or more than stop. We have had 2 furnace repair people out but no results. We are running 4 space heaters that keep it around 60 to 65. Have another part coming this week that we hope will fix it.
That's funny, here in Spartanburg, we move all the cars out of the driveway since it is a downhill slope, just so we can go sledding. We only got ice and yesterday we had a blast. Nice to know at 67 I can still have fun and I am not hurting this morning. As it is not going to warm up any time soon, maybe we can get another day of sledding in.
Have fun! Glad to see someone turned lemons into lemon aid. As for me a kind-hearted neighbor cleared this old mans driveway. I'm expecting the snow removal service to clear my front and back walkways later this morning.That's funny, here in Spartanburg, we move all the cars out of the driveway since it is a downhill slope, just so we can go sledding. I'm getting ready to get out and snowblow. I'll get ours, then our neighbors. She's pregnant and due anytime. Plus our other neighbor, he's a retired pastor and has serious vision problems. Then it's the rest of the block from corner to corner.😊

hit 45C, 113F in parts of Melbourne today, new Victorian temp record in a small town in the north of the state, 48.9C, 120.02F. Terrible out of control bushfires burning in coastal areas of the state, 100s evacuated, 1000s of acres burned. I'm in an inner suburb of Melbourne, unaffected by fires, just the heat. Terrible time here.
1/2 inch of snow melted yesterday in the tropical temp of 37 degrees. Overnight has brought us to where we are now. 10 degrees F. For this neck of the woods, that's chilly!!
@geoff-jowett Try to stay safe brother. You're at the opposite end of our spectrum. It's dangerous either way. Please stay safe for all of my friends here.🙏😊
