I came across this 1969 Mustang Sportsroof while walking thru an alley on the way to the local park. It's in pretty rough shape, as is the car cover, with a bit of body rot. The registration expired in March 2022, and the car's been sitting in the apartment carport ever since. This is an out-of-state Mustang judging by the selling dealership's emblem screwed onto the left side of the taillight panel. Cars sold in California typically use license plate frames to indicate the selling dealership. This Mustang was probably brought into California around 2018 as indicated by the license plate sequencing. I went by this carport a couple of weeks ago and the Mustang was gone, so maybe it was rescued or the owner moved. Hoping for the former!
Yes, lets hope it's being restored.

Your walks to the park have some very interesting “scenery” Pete, thanks for this great series!

Well, that was from CA DMV. So they were incorrect.
Pretty much par for the course at CA dmv from my experiences. Last time there while waiting at the very first window where they send you to a different window a motorist came in to renew their license. They DID NOT speak or understand English and had someone else with them to interpret.
Test available in 35 languages. I’m mot judging just stating a fact.
