Looking at the width of it, I just assumed that was a standard domestic fitting these days for individual use, designed to accommodate the Standard American Bum.
(So if you are in the habit of letting vagrants use your toilet, I guess you would need to fit one of these.)

Oh my. Graeme is right; it can well serve some overly 'healthy' people of today or three standard adults who are concerned with their weight, or 7 small children. One flush for the lot and you save water - MAYBE!
