I remember loving these as a child, and being disconsolate when I didn't win the lottery for a ride in one at the New York World's Fair in 1964 (I was 9). I had the opportunity to see one again at Bellissima! in Nashville. Beautiful cars.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
I recall a family on the next street had one of these.

I got to drive one across a parking lot about thirty five years ago. The car was restored by a friend of mine for the Museum of Transport in St. Louis County.
Really interesting cars for their time. A real shame that most were crushed!
Some time ago I was offered a gold foil depicting the Turbine car, by a woman who said she was the daughter of Henry Frank Gomulka, who worked for Chrysler back then.
She asked $500,- for it but was willing to part of it for $400,-
That was far too much for me, but I did buy a mint boxed Promo and a mint brochure of the car from her.
Thank you for this series JK.
Took a little time to go through but lots of great information. The Rover Turbine is another one that I followed in video recently. It raced at LeMans.
