Just a dusting here in west central Ohio. I don't mind it if I don't have to get out in it. I know we'll get more at some point. I'm OK with it staying away though. 😁

When I miss snow I turn to the weather channel and I'm reminded why we moved south years ago. I remember putting my old cars away in November and getting them out in April now I can play with them twelve months of the year. The first snowfall of the year was always magical but the next day it was usually slush.

We look forward to snow every year, but unfortunately, we do not see much in Spartanburg, SC.  Last time I remember a decent snow was about 4 years ago in early December.  We enjoy getting out in it and going for a walk, sledding and just enjoying the time outside.

Isn't it remarkable how much prettier and more enjoyable snowfall gets after you retire?  It's snowing here now as a matter of fact.....I think I'll have another coffee and enjoy this marvel of nature from my recliner.

@jack-dodds Jack no way. Granted, I don't need to commute to work, but I do have do have other commitments. If snow prevents me from going for certain doctor visits, it may take weeks to get another appointment. In the past I missed out on social events because of snow. Even going to the supermarket becomes a hassle. Now because I'm old, I no longer use my big and cumbersome snow blower so I have to pay a service to clear my driveway and front walk. I need access to my car and I want my mail delivered. Even when I do get out after it snows I must use caution negotiating slippery parking lots and steps. As far as I'm concerned snow is just a pain.

And Jack, you need to get out more.
