Whatever floats your boat.I always considered changing my oil a right of growing up.

I've always loved driving a 'stick'. Miata and Corvette with 6 speed was my favorite, seven was too much and the old three-on-the-tree was too little. Nowadays the 9 speed auto is just fine and once in a while I might use the paddle shifter for fun but that's not driving a stick. I miss it but like riding a bike, it's something you never forget how to do.
@chris that 7th gear is rarely used, more for economy along with the economy ride selection which drops 4 cylinders when cruising.

Thanks Bob. I figured as much otherwise if it had been on the outside your gear pattern would have been reversed and that might have caused some problems 🤣 I got to apologize for that lame joke...sorry !
@sizedoesmatter John at 67 I am still changing the oil in all my vehicles and my kids. They just bring it over and since some of them are lifted trucks I don't even need to jack them up.
My indy mechanic gives a free oil change for referrals. I love them, and so do the 7 people I've referred to them in as many years so far. Why change my own oil at this rate; I'll just find more people to refer to them!
Also I've owned and driven manuals, both on the column and the floor, but it's been decades. I hope to buy a toy soon that has a stick to get back into it (I'm short and thin enough to fit in a Miata), but I worry I'll mess it up. I'm sure I'll be fine in mere minutes though.
