Pontiac looks modern and racy. I like it!

Dodge please.  Didn't care for Pontiac until '57.

The 55 Pontiac is one of my all time favorite cars so the Dodge didn't stand a chance. Too bad because I really like the Dodge and it was closer than I thought.

As a lifelong Pontiac lover I give it the nod but the Dodge shown is a beauty, making it nearly a tie.

Not a fan of the big Pontiac's and Oldsmobile's of the late 50's so my vote goes to the Dodge.

@carsman1958 This particular year and body style is my favorite Dodge of its decade by far.  Some of the colors offered were stunning too; makes todays offerings look pretty bland doesn't it?.

For years I liked the Pontiac and Chevrolet for 1955 over all other brands. More recently, I have grown to appreciate that year’s Dodge. Dodge this time, John.

Seeing the DODGE side-by-side with the PONTIAC, the Dodge is much more compact and stylish to my eyes.  While the Pontiac seems big in comparison.  So today, the DODGE gets my vote.

@jack-dodds I agree the Dodge is just streamlined to make it attractive, and in all the color options you shown, I would take any of them.
