Frank; I think the reason they started from scratch with the ratings was because you've been contributing so long there would be no stars left for us relative newbies. There should be a crown designation for you and a few others IMHO.

It indicates I am a recent member, but been on since at least 2000. If not 1998 or 9.

Yes, some of the membership data ported over with inaccurate data. The problem was that the fields in the old site and the dating nomenclatures did not harmonize with the fields in the new site. Several fields on the old site were improperly populated and a few guys show up on the new site with a longer tenure than they should. The rest of us, including me, show our time from the moment we registered with the new site. It was a programing glitch they couldn't resolve.

John, there are actually two of me in the Members List. The one that is active and able to post here right now, and the original one that we couldn't activate successfully and which shows a Joined Date of 12/31/1996 which is actually about 5 years before I joined here in 2001 or so. Perhaps that second one should be removed by the Staff ?
