Two Paisano's drinking this and I never knew about it. I'm going out back and eat worms - oh CRAP, I can't - too much snow.
No more RC Cola and Moonpies for me - I'm searching out Manhattan Specials!!
Tony, you're not going to find Manhattan Special in the soda aisle at your local Piggly Wiggly. You're most likely to find it at an Italian food specialty store...I guessing not too many in Tennessee.
You're probably right John. We use Publix, Kroger and Food City in this area of east Tennessee. I will try Kroger first. I about flipped when I moved here 35 years ago and found that Kroger sells Mortadella and Capicola. BUT, here's the kicker - they actually call capicola - Gabagool! I almost kissed the guy waiting on me! LOL!

WOW...go figure and they refer to it as Gabagool no less. Do they carry Prosciutto di Parma or soppressata?
Tony and John...you guys are too cultured for this backwoods Canuck; I'll tuck into some moose jerky and wash it down with a couple Molson Canadians like my heroes Bob and Doug MacKenzie.
Edit - they have several of each to choose from but I like the Boar's Head brand:

Tony, I'm impressed!!
I was too John. And enough people buy it that they consistently stock all types of foods nationality-wise. There's the standard Chinese & Mexican food sections but thery have a terrific Italian section and vary other foods by nationality dependent on the season. Irish during St. Paddy's Day, German during Octoberfest, etc. This was east Tennessee's biggest Kroger when built - it is termed a Kroger Marketplace and it is huge!

That sounds pretty good too Jack. Although you might want to try the beaver jerky, much more flavorful.
