Mom's Driver's Licence
A mother is driving her little girl to her friend's house for a play date.
Mommy ,' the little girl asks, 'how old are you?'
'Honey, you are not supposed to ask a lady her age,' the mother replied.
'It's not polite.'
'OK', the little girl says,'How much do you weigh?'
'Now really,' the mother says,'those are personal questions and are really none of your business.'
Undaunted, the little girl asks, 'Why did you and Daddy get a divorce?'
'That's enough questions, young lady! Honestly!'
The exasperated mother walks away as the two friends begin to play.
' My Mom won't tell me anything about her,' the little girl says to her friend.
'Well,' says the friend,'all you need to do is look at her driver's license. It's like a report card; it has everything on it.'
Later that night the little girl says to her mother,'
I know how old you are. You are 32.'
The mother is surprised and asks,
'How did you find that out?
'I also know that you weigh 130 pounds.'
The mother is past surprised and shocked now.'How in Heaven's name did you find that out?'
'And' the little girl says triumphantly,'I know why you and daddy got a divorce.'
'Oh really?' the mother asks. 'Why?'
'Because you got an 'F' in sex.'
That is a good one. Thanks.

LOL...good one David. In these screwed up, woke times I wonder how many choices are offered for this category on driver's licenses or if they are even "allowed" to categorize it as such. Maybe these terms would make it *clearer for authorities:
NB - Non-Binary
GN - Gender Neutral
PND - Pronoun Not Disclosed
UM - Umbrella
CD - Can't Decide
* grouchy old man syndrome flaring up again!
HA! Didn't see that one coming - great stuff; thank you David!
@jack-dodds As open-minded as I have been all of my life, it seems we have reached my threshold, which would surprise some of my friends. While living in Laguna Beach, many years ago, friends introduced me to a wonderful woman, Christine Jorgensen - who began life as a male in NYC. There was nothing camp about Christine, nor was she in anyone's face about her transition. She did champion the cause of transgenders, but she wasn't hysterical in her presentation. She was the definition of a 'lady,' and I liked her very much. But, what is taking place today is a bit over the top and asking me to call a young, gay man 'they' just doesn't wash with me.
@gdh I hear ya GDH. Overly aggressive, in your face behavior is of course based in rage and is mainly designed to disrupt, shock, insult and force acceptance on a very compressed social time schedule rather than to have it earned by positive communicative means over time. We all try to understand and at least give space to those who differ from us; we have no right to judge or demand. All I ask is that they keep their private lives private like everyone else and respect my life.....pretty basic stuff.
