I have so many favorite 50's cars, but I think the 1954 through 1956 Cadillacs are without question the nicest looking and richly styled of any other 50's car.  NONE rival them!

55 Cadillac 1
55 Cadillac 2
55 Cadillac 3

I'm a longtime fan of the '56 Cadillac.

What a statement this car makes, especially in red.

The only Cadillac I liked in the '50's is the '57 series 62.

You know I'm with you on this one.  The mints brought us so many, made us want more, and then we were dropped cold turkey.  It's like the ultimate tease.  I've always kept hoping we'll return to those, but each year that passes, that hope gets fainter.

@brush

Of the Cadillac's after '56, I will agree the '57 is the nicest looking of the remaining fifties Cadillac's.  But I'd not take a '57 over a '56.

@brush Bruce; the '57 CDV is my favorite Caddy of its decade; followed by the '62 for the 60s.

I agree with you on the '62 being the best looking Caddy of the sixties.  The '61 was the beginning of the '62 look and then after that it was downhill.

If it's the 1950s and we're talking about American cars, it's all about 1956 for me, both the Chrysler 300B and the Continental Mark II.
