With one exception (the Tomb of the Unknown), this is the most moving memorial I’ve ever visited:

We've been to both and while in D.C. we also visited the Holocaust Memorial Museum. That was. perhaps, the most moving to me but the Arizona Memorial was as moving.

The USS Arizona Memorial and Pearl Harbour Tour is very moving indeed.  I should mention that the Imperial War Museum in London is something that I will always be grateful I took the time to experience; a must see IMHO.

Yes! The advantage of living in the D.C. metro area for the last 48 years is getting to see all the monuments & museums…the Holocaust Museum was equally moving to me also, but in a more horrific way (man’s inhumanity to man - simply pure evil).

@perrone1 Yes indeed Tony; the experience gave me a greater appreciation of the sacrifices made by so very many and although I already had an appreciation for this it made it much deeper.  I was a better person for the experience.

Unfortunately if you ask the average person under the age of 50, they wouldn't know what you're talking about. Our education system no longer teaches history. Very sad.

God rest their souls. The cruelty people inflict on each other is saddening. 🙏😥

And even sadder is that our youth of today could care less about history.  I've always felt that not knowing history and where we've been, leaves us no road map to where we're going.

Well I think, Hmmm, yes now that I've thought about the "history" we're referencing, I'll take my opinion to a more appropriate forum.
