Yup! I like the whole package.

Very nice. This '54 appears to have been lowered a bit. Given a choice, I've always preferred the '53 Skylark over the '54.

@sizedoesmatter...I actually prefer the ‘53 from the front & the ‘54 from the rear...

Guess I might be in the minority, as I've never cared for the "tacked on taillights" on the '54. And the real wheel well loses me altogether. Other than that, I like the styling of the '54 Buick a lot.

@georgeschire I agree with you George and much prefer the '53 Skylark. Nonetheless, I do love seeing this car at shows as they are so rare.
I too prefer the 53 over the 54. The 53 is a larger car based on the Roadmaster chassis while the 54 is based on the Special chassis.
I'm definitely at odds with prevailing opinion as there are few cars I loathe more than the '54 Skylark. Whereas the '53 was conservative and classic, yet low slung, young and sporty, this thing seemed to be adorned with spare parts from the Wildcat series that the design dept. wasn't quite sure of what to do with.
This would be right after the '58 for Buicks I dislike.
@charles-rockett Charles; what is the car you displayed in your post? A Buick it seems but....???

Between 1953 and '55 G.M. design studios created three design concepts in their Wildcat series the blue car in the post is 1954 Wildcat II which was originally bronze, I believe, as pictured from the front, below. Wildcat I Ivory 1953, II bronze 1954, III crimson 1955
Thanks for this info...very interesting indeed. There sure are front design cues of the 58 Buick on the 54 Wildcat shown here.
