PIC: A 1957 Chevrolet wit just 23 miles on it,
photo no longer available
Just how in the heck does that happen ?
I suppose buying it....and then completely forget where you left it...
Does that sound familiar ?
it's amazing how many low milers are out there and that Dick can find them. Thanks Dick
First thing to consider is,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,why it's a Chevy. That's why.
OR you can say, the first thing to consider is why? And the answer is still: It's a Chevy. Some folks also ask why did the rabbit cross the road? To get to the other side? No, it so happens he wanted to get away from his Chevy. What other company could give us the Corvair and then when its a good car, drop it?
Yep, it sure does.
I saw an ad in Hemmings in 1985 for a '55 Chrysler Windsor with 30 miles on it for sale. Story was that a man and his wife drove the car home from the dealership (in Connecticut) and pulled it into the garage. Man died in his sleep that night, woman didn't drive, and it sat untouched for 30 years.

Ralph is the reason.
My aunt kept my uncle's cadillac in the garage, untouched for many years after my uncle died.
Unfortunately, the car was no prize when it was parked.
