I can't believe that sold for $116,500 in 2010.  It's worth nowhere near that today!  😬 😬 😬    But it does serve as a reminder that not all collector cars go UP in value.  Trust me, I know.  😔 😔 😔

I watched the Roy Rogers show every week. I've long had fond memories of the NellyBelle, Roy's horse, Trigger, Dale's horse, Buttermilk and their dog Bullet. Also had an affinity for the Lone Ranger, Hopalong Cassidy and most all other westerns.

Yes, like many of us I was a big fan of TV westerns. A bunch of years back we went to the Roy Rogers Museum in Victorville, loved it...Its been closed for a while.

Edit...I should have mentioned, we got to see "NELLYBELLE" live and in person.

@perrone1 I agree with you Kemosahbe.

I actually put VERY little of it on my sashimi. It spoils....uh, oh, Tonto's name for the Ranger. It means: Trusty Scout.

Christopher, yes $116,500 is crazy. Not too many Roy Rogers fans still around...should bring next to nothing going forward.
