The year, make and model can be found by placing your curser over the picture or by enlarging the image by clicking on it.  To get info on the car, goggle the year, make and model.

I really like the Cobra but love the AC Ace, which I believe would be a much better handling road car with the lighter engine.  A fellow used to bring his restored AC Ace to car shows; it was dark blue with gray leather interior and it had the earlier 6 cylinder engine.  What a gorgeous and interesting car!

I've long-loved the AC and Shelby cars. For 10 years, from 1953 to '63, the AC Ace and AC-Bristol (more than twice that built of the ACE) were pure English sports cars. 

Shelby's early cars handled exceptionally well too; the well balanced 260 and 289. Everyone went ga-ga over the 427 S/C, I did as well, but the better balanced and lighter car may have been way more fun to drive in normal conditions. The 260 Cobra:
