I see from the tail fin it's a Mach I so if nothing else, the name fed through to production models.
.....Tesla bashing, I suppose, will remain popular until that day when ICE vehicles become outnumbered...and yes, yes, we'll all be dead by then....even me and I'm in my 50's.
But I can tell you, Tesla manufacturing is far superior, sophisticated and MANY years ahead of what practically ANY other OEMs (on the planet! ) are capable of doing. In some cases, it will take 10 years to catch up to Tesla.
My point: No car is perfect, EVs are here to stay, laugh & bash (like blacksmiths did while still making horseshoes watching cars drive by ) but know the facts. You may passionately hate Telsa, but NO ONE in the global automotive industry thinks Teslas are "crappy junk!"
I buy nothing but new American cars.....TRUST ME, I can tell you about "crappy junk!"
@chris , Easy does it Chris. I'm not looking to start WW III, although I suspect it may be upon us before we know it. I'll be the first to admit I'm a dinosaur and have absolutely zero interest in EV, unless my neighbor's EV catch's fire and burns my house down. If you're a fan, then enjoy.

@sizedoesmatter .....I'm not upset. I'm 100% Italian, I get more worked up at the dinner table asking for butter. 😀 😏 😀
@sizedoesmatter Plus one John. Tesla is not the only company who's EVs catch fire but since they have more EVs on the road they are naturally going to be the target. A friend of mine in the auto salvage business had to buy additional acreage to house electric cars because of their propensity to catch fire and/or explode. Like you, I will never buy an EV...ICE forever for me.
I think some of the hype surrounding EVs is a little exaggerated. I've never seen an EV on fire, and I live near Washington DC where EVs are more numerous than politicians. 😊 I travel quite a bit, frequently between my home in Virginia and NYC, Chicago and Miami, almost always by car. I've never seen a Tesla parked on the side of the road waiting for a charge. Yes, I see ICE cars on the side of the road daily. Yes, there are some fires. But ICE vehicles catch fire too. You'll never see that headline, "ICE car catches fire!" There's a lot of concern over the range of electric cars. In the meantime, nearly all electrics have a range of 250 miles or better. We're seeing some creep up on 350 and 400 miles while statistics show that nearly all trips taken in ICE cars are less than 50 miles. Toyota is close to producing a battery that can offer up to 700 miles of range on a single charge. How much range do we need?
I think Tesla doesn't get the credit it deserves. Prior to their arrival, electrics were for geeks and pocket protector wearers. Tesla brought them into the mainstream and introduced the world to their performance potential. They did it by being outrageous and bold, polarizing, and innovative. Anyone growing up in the sixties should appreciate that. Now, love 'em or hate 'em, Tesla owners are fascinating party guests, "This guy owns a Tesla!" "Really! What do you think of it..."
I guess we all have to decide...or maybe we don't. ICE cars will be with us as long as all of us are around. But so will electrics. I'm glad we have more choices now than ever before. I may never buy an electric car. But I like thinking about it.

I think people should be able to buy what they want without interference or special treatment/regulations from governmental edicts and attempts to force in a concept. Years ago I told a lady on line that she could and should drive whatever she liked but that in a drive out to the California Pacific coast, I would be out there lounging on a beautiful beach hours before she did while she charging up at a (hopefully) available outlet. If I foolishly ran low in my old Roadmaster, I might have to trudge to the nearest station for gas or have it brought to me. She would be out of luck if her E.V. ran out.
She then claimed that she simply got her electricity from "out of a wall socket", while I had to put gas in my Buick. I said, "How do you think you get electricity ? It's coal, oil, natural gas, nuclear and some hydro. It's not "free" or simply available quickly out on a highway.".
Get whatever you like but don't outlaw or prohibitively tax something just because you want it's alternative.
