I chose the fresh Dodge here, the other two were terrific but past their peak years for looks.

I voted Firebird. To me it has the best looks and engineering. Dodge close second. Cougar well behind.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
All of these are very nice but I would choose the Challenger for first place. Fresh! The other two are a tie for me.
Dodge, Pontiac, Mercury. The new Challenger was a hit when introduced and even more so today. I loved the 67 and 68 Cougars but they lost me after that.,
Dodge, Mercury, Pontiac. Never a fan of the redesigned Pontiac.
No contest: my favorite pony car the Dodge Challenger T/A.
Challenger by a nose over Firebird and Cougar third.
That Challenger…wow!

But that Firebird was a brand new body style for '70.
I had a '70 TA and loved it. I did choose the Challenger over the 'bird today as the back seat in the Dodge has a bit more room and you at least have side windows.

@100ford2003 I just feel the 67 and 68 Firebird were the best looking of all the generations, no doubt the 70 was a wonderful car.

I would prefer the '67 over the '68 as it has vent windows.
I sure do miss those !
It was interesting that GM abandoned the convertible market with the restyled Camaro & Firebird.
Ford had 3 options available for Mustang.

The muscular looking Challenger gets my vote.

Mopar hit a grand slam with their '70 Challenger & Barracuda.
