Has anyone in the zone conducted business with Vinny DeMezza, at Philly Mint (aka: Chasing Diecast Cars)? His area code indicates he is located in southwestern New Jersey.

Over the years I have bought models from them and have been very happy with the transactions. The items have always been well packed and shipped promptly.

Vince DiMezza was a LONG time D4C member and opened Philly Mint about 30 years ago. He was given the OK to use many of our archived model photos and attended the annual D4C dinners when we met at the Franklin Mint in Pennsylvania.
For buying a model or two from him, you should be delighted with the transaction. Vinny is a good seller.

I have delt with Vinny in the past, but many years ago. I had spoken with him a few times on the phone, when I was inquiring about a model, he was always very honest in his opinion about the condition of the models. He was always fair in his pricing as well.

Yep, I have it also. I think it was an LE of 250. I've bought from Vinny as well. I always had great service.😊I’m pretty sure he offered a limited edition 1/24 Challenger from “Vanishing Point” which I purchased “eons” ago !
I checked, it is an LE of 250, so they are extremely rare. I did add the correct license plates to mine to make it official. 👍

Well, these certainly are glowing reports. I like three of his models, but I am having difficulty swallowing 105USD for shipping (1 model), when three models total 65USD. I guess that's the price of collecting long distance. I'll give him a call and have a chat. Should I mention your name, Chav?
