'58 Buick or Oldsmobile?

John, I don’t like either but imma gonna vote for one of them because of your effort to post these. I choose the Olds as I don’t want to even try to clean all the dead insects off that Buick grill 🤣

Like Steve I always try to vote, but I just can't with these two. GM's styling nadir of the 1950s: no interest.

I don't care for either one of them either. Both are over-dressed by their stylists. Like a guy wearing his sweater on his back and tying the arms around his neck.
Of the two, I find the Olds less egregious!

I had a hard time deciding if I should vote no interest or for one of them. They are both large and overdone. That being said ….. my neighbors son in law who lived in New Jersey and would visit regularly had a 58 Buick. It was yellow and black first of all which caught my eye. It was huge compared to our smaller looking 58 Plymouth that I though was huge at the time. When that engine started and the rumble it made as they pulled away from curb was like nothing I heard come out of a car and my uncle owned Cadillacs all his life. So I voted for the Buick.

Both feature horrible styling but I vote Oldsmobile because the Buick Dynastar grille is just too far over the top.

Buick for me. Both were ridiculously overwrought but I like the Buick more.

I guess I'm just in the minority, but I've ALWAYS liked the '58 Buick. To me it's just so over the top, it's cool. The '58 Olds I absolutely despised for years, but it has grown on me. I like it as well, just the Buick moreso. 😁

All cars deserve a "look at me" beneath the spotlight, even if the vast majority dislike it.

Like many here I am not a fan of either for '58 but like the shoulder years for both very much. Buick gets my vote today.

🤣 I would kiss a cow’s backside also thinking about how scrumptious that roast is gonna taste on the barbecue.
