Got no opinion on these, I'm afraid. I was only 12 when they came out and I wasn't really into American cars at that stage. But I'm sure some of our older members will have fond memories of going on a honeymoon trip in one or the other.
But I will say that (based on these pics) I find the Plymouth more nicely proportioned, and I prefer the grille.

I like the Chevy's looks, especially the fenders. It wins.

@ed-glorius Too close for me, although a forced vote might have to go with the “gangster” look of the Plymouth.
Both surprisingly similar in overall appearance. And even though I don't usually care for the outside spare tire the Chevy looks better to me. Cleaner sides, better proportioned roof and I love the simplistic grill and wheels!
Plymouth for me. A beautifully styled car IMO.
The grill and front screen on the Plymouth make it my choice of this pairing.

Too close to call for me. Though I find the cleanliness of the Chevrolet appealing; not so much as I'd discount the Plymouth. A tie.
I could say I'm not a fan of either, but after looking at then awhile, the PLYMOUTH seems to be a little more proportioned to my eyes. The Chevy's top looks oddly shaped.

I did the math and got 92. I'll be 70 in January, so born 1955. These would have come out in fall 1935, so me plus 22. Mazel tov, Graeme!

I have seen the Ford of this year and built models of it, but this is the first time I have seen the Chevy and the Plymouth. I like them both equally.
Both are attractive cars but I prefer the nose of the Plymouth.
Chevy by small margin
