The Lincoln for styling. Packard were extremely cautious with their styling in the late '30s, until they suddenly revolutionised their look with what might be the first Ponton body in '41.

Packard. It may look older, but it looks right.

Retired in Dunedin, Florida.

I chose the Packard. Like the Rolls Royce in this period, the Packard kept a standard of grace that other brands like Cadillac chose to ignore by going for the latest style trends.

I guess it paid off for Cadillac in the long run because it is still around.

Still for me---Packard.

Well, that another tough choice. My head wants to go with Packard for the elegance and class and because it's a PACKARD.

But the Lincoln is so sexy looking, my eyes and heart gotta go with the Lincoln. In this case the sexy one wins out.

Being honest, neither car really rocks my boat.  But for the sake of the poll, and the fact that I do find the Lincoln styling a little modern and pleasing, I vote Lincoln.  The Packard appears to be about a decade behind with its look.

The Lincoln looks far more modern for the times and the custom coachwork flows beautifully. I have to go with the Lincoln.

For 1938 the Packard was still King, at least in my eyes.
