I love them both equally. The Plymouth has really grown on me in recent years.
As much as I like the Plymouth, I like the Ford more. The '39 and '40 Ford styling, especially the front-end is to my eyes one of the most beautiful of that era's cars. I never get tired of admiring them.

The Ford front end treatment was superb in my opinion. While both cars are attractive overall, the nod goes to Ford. Thanks John.
Had to pick the 1939 Ford as I owned one for 24 years! When I bought it for $800 in 1976 I started it up and drove it home! Deluxe Coupe not the convertible model! I had a blast with it- For many years it was my daily driver!
Either would be an welcome addition in my garage!☺️
