I am kinda fond of the Mercury, but I really like the Ford.

I sort of like them both. I voted for the Ford because the Mercury is beginning to look dated even though I sort of like it.

I love the color of the Ford but I find myself tiring of the shoebox overall. Maybe if the Merc were a different color:

They are wonderful-looking automobiles from their respective manufacturers and I am delighted to have diecast models of each of these cars. They were both extremely popular with customizers, too.

Mercury all the way for me. The Ford is okay but everything about the Mercury speaks to me from it's grill, to it's tail lights, to it's dashboard.

Speaking of Mercurys, I just got back from a road trip to South Dakota a few days ago and driving thru a neighborhood of Globe, Arizona I found this parked in a carport.

@pete-rovero Pete, from where I'm sitting the customized Mercury appears to have potential.

@bob-jackman +3  I agree with Bob and Geno; Merc gets the nod.  Ford QC this year detracts as well.

@sizedoesmatter

Yeah, it actually looked pretty good, just dirty like most cars in the area.

I prefer the clean lines of the Ford compared to the bloated appearance of the Mercury.

Gents, thanks for your replies.
