Way, way back before I got interested in cars, but I’ll tell you what after looking at the two pics you posted John I’m going with the Buick. That’s the automobile that captures my heart and spirit tonight. 👍

Buick looks heavy with bigger fenders & sun visor.

Chrysler please, prefer the grill & bumpers.

The Chrysler looks entry-level. Very sparse on refinements. On the Buick, I hate that front awning! I know it works as intended and serves an important function, it just looks weird. Overall I have to choose Buick; it has refinement!

I would normally voted for the Buick. I went with the Chrysler.  Honestly I don’t think I have ever seen that year Chrysler. At an auto show.  I will need to look up my pictures. I go to a show every October held in Rockville MD. Would be interested in seeing a model made of this car.

I like both about equally but did take a liking to the Buick grill treatment. That was the decider.

I don't care for either one, so I went with not interest.

They are very similar to my eye. I vote for the Buick; the front clip looks better styled. I'm with Tony; it seems more refined.

I vote Buick but I’m solidly with Mr. Perrone…..lose the visor.

Buick for me. Perhaps the visor on the Buick would look less obtrusive if it were painted the same as the roof. Also, the Buick had an overhead valve engine that was smooth as silk.

Both are beautiful '40's American coupes ! Either makes a superb replica and I would be thrilled with having either real 1:1 automobile back then.

I have seen photographs of my Grandfather's Forties Chrysler. I think a '41 or even a '42 which they got right after my Mom dented the 1936 or 1937 Airflow, lol ! But she said they had a nearly new car right at the beginning of the USA's entry into World War II.

Buick styling is sleeker and it has a better drive train.
