DeSoto please John, mainly because a friend has this one, but not the convertible.

John, this is one of your best side-by-side comparisons.  I love both a lot!  So much that, I can't vote for one over the other.  As much as I hate doing it, I vote a TIE.  Incredible styling on both, especially the grille work.

DeSoto gets my vote.  I always liked the look of this car, plus the Olds headlight placement is not as nice....a bit too close together by comparison.  I would like the DeSoto even more if the chick from Cool Hand Luke was washing it.  Lol.

Two cars that I can't remember from my earliest days.  My family and neighbors?  Mostly Fords and Chevys, with a few Buicks and one renegade uncle's older Packard.  But these two both look good to me.  Voting in ignorance (what else is new!), count me as a tie.

I don’t like the Olds headlights either, I like the DeSoto.
