I prefer the Buick. ✌️

I picked the Chrysler literally by a nose over the Buick as I have come to prefer its grille and front end treatment more in recent years. I suspect the Chrysler convertible is far more rare as well. Both cars are beauties though.
@jack-dodds 🤔there’s a “nose picking” joke in there somewhere 🥹

I went with a tie. They look so much alike.
I don't often do it, but in this instance, I vote a TIE. I'd take the keys to either or both of them in a heartbeat.

It really does come down to the grills, and both are classics for that era.

Not 2 of my favorites but I'll choose the Buick.

Hard to choose but I do prefer the Chrysler grill. Seems silly to choose over a grill shape, but it is what it is. Thanks once again John.
The Chrysler is too handsome not to win.

Chrysler of course. In '48 the car of my choice, the Hudson.
Bucking the trend, I'm going for the Buick. That front fender sweeping cleanly, back to the rear is too modern to ignore. And the refined dignity of the Chrysler grille, whilst far more attractive, looks pre-war at this point.
The Chrysler looks pudgy compared to the svelte Buick. Nice choice of pictures John. You effectively neutralized the votes due to color.
You've done it, John - the ultimate comparo for me. Direct competitors, in the same color combo, and my #1 and #2 favorite makes of car!
In 1948 (I wasn't born yet, but...) I'd literally have had to flip a coin to decide which of these beautiful, impressive cars to buy.
This is a dead heat to me and therefore, I have to default to my rule that in the case of a tie, Chrysler wins!
