@georgeschire You're welcome George. Like you, I also appreciate dashboard styling as it is of course a big part of the driving experience. Back in the 50s and 60s in particular each company was unique with this feature.
Agree! A dashboard to me is even more important than outside appearance of a car. As a driver of a car, the dash is what we see whenever we're driving. It has to be appealing, attractive, and inviting to the driver. LOL, at least for me anyway.

I've never considered the dashboard as a factor when purchasing a car and going forward, I never will. For my it's about performance and style.

@sizedoesmatter John; I recall that car dashboards/interiors started to become more important to me in the mid 60s cars. Some of those interiors were really sporty looking. A few I recall that were attractive were the '63 thru '65 Pontiacs and Buick Wildcats, the '66-'67 Charger, '67 Cougar GT/XR-7 and Mustang GT....but there were many more. Modern cars can't compete.
@jack-dodds - Jack, I've been buying and or leasing new cars since 1965. I agree, there are cars that have more attractive dashes than others. But the style of the dash was never a consideration when I was car shopping. Off the top, I must have gone through at least 20 new cars since 1965.

Love both but I'm going with the Ford. My Dad bought a new Fairlane Town Sedan in 1956. This was the first car I ever drove.
