Mercury styling is better by far in '56.  Dodge is second and Pontiac third.

@georgeschire: Gotta agree with you tonight, George, the Dodge sits right, has a modest but effective paint job and appears to be a rare D-500 model, as well. Absolutely my first choice tonight.

Barry, Typically I prefer the look of convertibles with the top up.  Most of the convertibles in my collection are displayed with the top up, if giving the option.  But I have to admit, some of the DM convertible models looked awkward with the top up. The '56 DeSoto and '57 Mercury had poor fitting tops if I recall.

And thing is, I really like the Mercury for '56.  But that Dodge for some reason just pops.
