thanx John, i’m going with that beautiful Mercury.
The Crown Vic is one of the prettiest cars of the ‘50’s to my eyes!
I am delighted to have diecast models of each of these real 1950's automobiles. They look great and could have some good performance along with that, too.
Both are beauties; I hate to vote against either one. But, for my taste, the Ford is a little less 'fussy', more "fifty-six clean". Ford please John and thanks for doing these SO well!
Ford for me. I never warmed up to these Mercurys

Yes, thank you John. I look forward to what you'll surprise us with each day. I voted a tie. I love both bodystyles.😊
Voted tie. When I used to go to car shows, they both drew my attention.
I like both. This though is one of those "Which Ones" that if they were '55's instead of '56's, my vote would be reversed.
For '56, I prefer the Ford over the Mercury. It was tweaked enough with the parking lights, side trip, and dashboard to grab me over the '55. While the Mercury for '56, left be a little cold with the more squared "Dagmar's" on the front bumper. And I wasn't fond of the dashboard in either year of Mercury.
However, these comparisons shared, I'd gladly have any of the four in driveway anytime. They were fifties styling at its ultimate best for me.

Virtually identical but I slightly prefer the side trim on the Mercury.
Love both but the Crown Victoria just edges out the Mercury ever so slightly.
Tie! Love them both! In my opinion the two nicest styled cars of the '50's
