'56 DeSoto or Oldsmobile?

I really like the lines of the DeSoto, the Olds not so much.

Sort of a tough one because I like the DeSoto for '56 a lot. BUT...the DeSoto against the OLDSMOBILE is a no-brainer. OLDSMOBILE for me friends! Bumper to bumper, top to bottom, and the dash inside is just one incredibly beautiful car! In fact, the '56 Olds dash is my favorite dash of any fifties car.

Another diabolical Bono quandary! John you are the Master of Decision Dilemma my friend. (I'm not griping, I love your though-provoking dedication to these choices)
To me, the DeSoto looks more athletic than the Olds. It beckons to get off the couch and stretch its legs. DeSoto it is.

DeSoto for sure. I like the '55 to '58 DeSoto, did not like Olds until '57 & the'62 '63. Just not a GMC fan.

I didn't even look at the photos before I voted. I love the 1956 DeSoto, although the Olds is no slouch.

The sleek DeSoto styling makes the Olds look comparatively a bit chunky. The color is awesome as well. No contest today.

The Olds being a Ninety Eight made this close for me, but the DeSoto takes the win.

Going with the Oldsmobile for sentimental reasons, like the DeSoto too.
