I like the Buick styling much more in spite of it being comparatively dated looking.
Two beautiful cars from 1957 ! I have a couple of 1957 Buicks from 1957, but not yet a DeSoto from that year. I hope Groucho and George Fenneman will understand I am still planning on also getting one of these DeSotos for 1957, too !
I like both but choose the DeSoto today.
Although I like them both, I find myself thinking the DeSoto's grille is too much. But then I think the fins are too much. The side molding doesn't lineup right and the whole side color break scheme is too much. I'm going with the lovely styled Buick today because the DeSoto is too much.
Edit: Love the back end of that Century Riviera:

Dayum it Tony, now you’ve made me change my mind. That Buick pic is absolutely gorgeous in that color combo. John, I gotta change my pick please… Thank-you!

Sorry. I just missed seeing the 'twin split rear window'.
DeSoto for me too.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
Thank you Tony for reminding me! I don’t know what the hell I was thinking today when I picked the DeSoto… ah yes, I haven’t had coffee yet 🤣
I’m waiting for one of the Vietnamese coffee shops here on Main Street to open up. I hear that their coffee can be very highly exhilarating.
I have always been a fan of the 57 Buicks especially the Special and Century hardtops with their three piece back windows. The picture says it all Tony.
