Dodge. Pontiac starts to get interesting next year. Dodge already looks great, especially in the 1956 facelift.

Two beautiful Fifties American sedans ! In my view, certainly over the next decade and a half, with few exceptions, these two nameplates hit home run after home run as I see it.

Another toughie! Today, I'm going with the svelte Dodge.

Not an easy choice today, but Dodge wins out for its rich-looking color combination.

Dodge! What a nice design moving toward the future.  The Pontiac looks long in the backside in this picture. Taillights and grill are not impressive.  The hood looks like an old time suitcase with straps to hold it down. The four door looks even worse.

Took my driving test in that Dodge. Nice car but I am still going with the Pontiac.

No interest.  In 1956 would choice Ford, Mercury or Chevy.

Dodge over Pontiac. Didn't care for Pontiac until '57.  Would have bought a Mercury in '56, if I were only old enough and had the money.  Dodge in '56 was a good looking car.

Pontiac although the 55 was a better cleaner design.

I usually pass on the '56 Pontiacs, but this one with the blue and white color scheme has won me over. Pontiac it is.
